What is the difference between MADE TO ORDER, MADE TO MEASURE & CUSTOM MADE?
MADE TO ORDER: A gown selected from out studio range that is then produced to a size
Once a gown is booked, no prototype is provided but minor alterations are included like hem lengths, strap lengths and basic waist and hip adjustments. All additional changes are quoted at time of enquiry.
MADE TO MEASURE: A gown selected from our range that is made to fit the client.
This includes a calico prototype and several fittings to ensure an accurate fit.
This service also offers some flexibility in gown details that can be altered to suit the body shape of the client. This service is recommended for clients who are between sizes or are 2 different sizes top and bottom
CUSTOM MADE: A real Artisan experience where a gown can be taken from our range and changed to suit the clients requirements. Necklines, skirt styles and fabrications can be changed. Generally we allow 4-5 fittings.
Guipurean also offers a custom made from scratch service where we source and develop the fabrications/embroideries and appliqué in addition to developing an original design from sketch and reference images. Please note, Guipurean will only offer this service within the confines of our design philosophy. If we feel the design you are after is not in the DNA of our labels identity then we can recommend other bridal designers who may be more suitable.
